The Northeastern Pennsylvania Transplant Support Group, Inc. recently received a resolution from the Monroe County Commissioners' Office proclaiming April 20 through April 26 as "Transplant Candidate, Recipient and Donor Family Week" in Monroe County.

    In recognition of the resolution, NEPATSG will have its fourth annual organ and tissue donor awareness walk on Saturday, April 26. Registration starts 10:30 a.m. at the East Stroudsburg High School South Campus.

    The walk kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and ends in Stroudsburg courthouse square, where refreshments and special guest speakers will be present.
