A Gift that Lasts a Lifetime

    Douglas Predmore of Bangor mans the organ transplant information booth at Pocono Medical Center this week. Predmore had a heart transplant four years ago at Temple University Medical Center and is a member of the Northeast Pennsylvania Transplant Support Group.

    An Organ Walk, a fund-raiser and awareness-raiser for the group, is planned Saturday at East Stroudsburg South High School. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. The walk will culminate in a rally at Courthouse Square.
