Organ-Donor Walk Set in Area for April 21

The Gift of Life donor program exists to coordinate donors
and those who need organs. For information,

    To promote organ and tissue donor awareness, and to raise funds to support the ongoing efforts of Northeastern Pennsylvania Transplant Support Group Inc. (NEPATSG), a community walk will be held April 21. The organization reminds the public that 16 Americans die each day awaiting the gift of life.

    Participants should register at 10:30 AM at the East Stroudsburg High School South on Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg. The walk will begin at 11:30 AM and is expected to finish at 1 PM. It will travel from the school to Courthouse Square where a rally will be held and refreshments served.

    Participants are asked to obtain sponsors and make a donation, but it is not a requirement All donations are tax deductible. The first 100 participants to register will receive a free 2001 walk T-shirt and the next 100 register will receive free complimentart tickets to Bushkill Falls.

    NEPATSG is an all voluntary organization which provides educational and psychosocial support services to the transplant community.
